$1.4 Million Settlement For Father And Son Injured In Automobile Accident In Woodstown, NJ

A father and son will receive $1.4 million to settle their personal injury lawsuit arising from a collision with a commercial truck on Harrisonville Lake Road on May 30, 2009. The truck was owned and operated by Budd Pool Co. Inc. and hit the father and son’s vehicle on the front passenger side door. The son, then only 9 years old, suffered head and brain injuries, a broken right arm and orbital, and a collapsed lung. The father suffered sprains, in addition to emotional distress from witnessing the injuries to his son. The son received a structured settlement of $1.05 million which will nearly double by the time he reaches age 35. The father received $350,000 for his injuries.
