A plaintiff who was injured when struck from behind by another motor vehicle recently settled her Camden County personal injury lawsuit for $900,000. Plaintiff, a 24-year-old nursing student at the time, was stopped in traffic on Interstate 676 when her vehicle was hit from behind by a pickup truck that had just been repossessed was being driven by an employee of a repossession company. As a result of the accident, plaintiff sustained a broken hip and rib, a torn labrum, and other injuries. She continues to suffer from anxiety and depression as a result of the accident. The case settled after mandatory non-binding arbitration, and had not yet been assigned a trial date or judge.
