New Jersey Personal Injury Lawyers

A man who was severely injured when he was run over by a school bus recently settled his New Jersey personal injury lawsuit for $1.9 million. The man was crossing Ocean Avenue in Jersey City, where it intersects with Orient Avenue, when he was hit by the front wheel of a turning school bus and knocked to the pavement. As the bus turned the corner, the rear wheels rolled over him, causing extensive damage to his pelvis, spine and leg. In addition the bus ran over the man’s genitals causing extensive damage that now requires the man to urinate through a tube inserted in his bladder, despite four surgeries to repair the damage. The case settled at pre-trial mediation with a retired judge.
